This interactive video installation features a touch-sensitive surface, two projectors, and an array of cardboard boxes forming a wall. The installation reinterprets the iconic shower scene from Hitchcock's "Psycho." The bathroom tiles behind a female subject were divided into small squares corresponding to the size of the boxes. As users touched the interface, they erased parts of the video square by square, causing the image to reappear on the reverse side in a horror sequence. Each square teleported to the other side triggered a looping scream typical of classic horror films. This blend of "Psycho" and David Cronenberg's "The Fly" created a visceral experience of human intervention generating horror.
